My mother was an artist who painted and sketched.
I think I have her need to be creative since I always loved customizing my bicycles as a kid, and cars and bikes as I got older. Big art projects in a way.

Stock looks like a blank canvas to me.

The SV came with the giant rear fender already detached when I bought it used.
I put Ricor Intiminators in the forks that you can't see. An Elko rear shock is the only visible non-stock item.
Since I got it in '08 the only comment I've ever had on it was at the bagel shop a week ago by an ex-SV haver.
The Motosliders seem to be super stealth, but that was the thing to do back in the day. Like belt onions.

As a 55-year-old man with a wife and a mortgage, I loves me some anodized bits and pieces... This was my Ducati ST4S - look, a carbon fiber hugger! A carbon fiber exhaust! Anodized bolts! Anodized shift AND brake levers!

Ladies, I DARE you to date me. Or at least express an intention to do so, so I can have all the satisfaction without the hassle of a divorce.

(to be clear, the bike was like this when I bought it, and I didn't have it long enough to change anything. I really liked the Dzus fasteners on the fairings though)

77 year old man. I have ProBolt, Mettec and ti64.com on speed dial. BTW ProBolts aluminum screws are 7075 t6 hard anodized. Plenty strong for cover attachments. Fear da bling!

I have the exact same bike, only the "S".
The ZX10 rear shock has it slightly oversprung for the street but it sucks in tight and sweetly through T-6 at Sears Point so I live with it.
I have a stable full of sportbikes but I find myself grinning in my helmet every time I ride that thing.
