worked for a brush clearing outfit that specialized in poison oak, ivy and blackberry vines: 2 years of cold showers after work and buying Tecnu in the gallon jugs. I think @nakedape worked for the same outfit.
 
Pretty sure I'm immune to poison ivy... have never had it... been in groups where everyone except me got it.
 
If i just heard the word poison ivy I got it as a kid.

Most traumatic incident was transferring to a new high school in 10th grade where nobody knew me, and I showed up the first weeks of school looking like the elephant man with a nasty case of poison ivy that had covered my face hands arms everything.

Poison oak oil is really insidious, got home from brush clearing one day when I didn't think I was in poison oak and didn't go straight to the bathroom and go through the decontamination procedure but sat in an upholstered chair and had a beer; 3 weeks later my roommate's girl friend sat in that chair wearing shorts and got poison oak on the backs of her legs.

I thought so too, until I crashed a mountain bike into some poison oak. That cured of the notion that I couldn't get it. lol

I'm thinking your home was tampered with and work sounds emotionally taxing. Maybe your CNS hasn't calmed down yet from the roofing project.

I'm thinking I should book an appointment with my therapist. It's been a few weeks. All is well, just a check in.

Also thinking that if you say you heard something is a no, asking for it shows you don't give a fuck about my no. To which I say, NO!

Poison Oak, I have an uncle that can't eat venison, he gets stomach poison oak from eating it.
I did think I was safe from it, only got a small glob once, maybe.
I was well into my 50's before I've even seen poison ivy
