I did that once. I flew down to LA to buy my JCW Mini convertible and I drove it home to San Jose. It was a great trip. Though I did have something weird happen. I, of course, had the top down for the entire trip up the coast but when I began the trip, I had an uneasy feeling that something wasn’t right. I finally figured it out. I wasn’t wearing a helmet and the wind was in my hair and I was on the road. I laughed at this revelation and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the trip.
