Stinkwheels are a lot of fun. You lose out a little because of the narrow power band but the weight advantage over diesels is almost criminal. :teeth

yes the fun factor is HUGE plus i can run longer motos at a faster pace then on my 450.

My latest build, 1991 CR500 in a 2009 CRF250X chassis, Engine has full tune from Eric Gorr, Crankworks Crank with Pro-X rod, Hinson clutch, 1987 gearbox, 41MM carb, Tech-3 Reedblock, 85HP :)

I did say I love it but no way 80 hp.

When its done take it to PINNIT in Seaside,their dyno will have the real numbers

Its going to be welded on hopefully this week, Made by cr500 conversions..

LOL, I know, wishful thinking on the HP.... :laughing :p

Yea, it's probably the same one. though I haven't been able to ride it much, I can tell from the first twist of the throttle that it's nothing likey old drz400sm... Or any of my other bikes I've ever had.

It's going to take some getting used to since I started on sport bikes and the closest thing I've had to a dirt bike was the Drz. The power down low was a nice surprise haha

Nice bikes, my first was a ysr50. Tiny little two stroke that was huge fun.

Couple of update pics, Got all the motor parts and got it together...

Engine spec: Eric Gore tune. Crankworks balanced crank with pro-x rod. Wiseco piston. Keihin PWK 41.5mm carb. Boyesen rad valve. CPI racing pipe. Hinson clutch. Dirtdigger plates. 1994 5th gear. All other gears replaced new. Every single bearing and seal replaced. New water pump. Service Honda complete ignition (not fitted yet)
