transporting a handgun

PC 12020 (a)(2) Commencing January 1, 2000, manufactures or causes
to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or
offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, or lends, any large-
capacity magazine.

so he can't loan them to you.

that is not what i want to hear.:x

:p

Worst case, you could buy a 10-round magazine for each of those. But I really can't imagine you'll have any problems, even if it's not legal by the letter of the law.

this is what i was thinking. tomorrow morning i am going to our local gun shop to see if they have something in stock or if they can do something to the magazine.

i want to take those 2 because i have never shot a 9mm and my buddy i am going with called glocks garbage.

and with these 2 we would have a full range of choices. a 4 barrel .22, .25, 380, 9mm, 357, .40, and a .45.
hell the only thing missing is the desert eagle, anybody with one want to come and let us try it out. :teeth

Call first. Lots of gun shops are closed on Monday.

sadly contacting the state will result in bad advice as most do not know the law.

ALL pistols must be in a locked container. All mags can be loaded, just NOT in the gun nor a chambered loaded cartridge.

ALL rifles and other long guns NO state requirement for locking it away.

if most cops out there ask you if you have a gun with you, you will be searched if you say yes or if the officer thinks you are not telling the truth.

here is a site were all such laws have been hashed to death.

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/index.php

this site will remove any bad advice one would post up as they like to keep it legal.
