I will be stealing the term "swagtastic" from you, going forward.....but I will credit you appropriately.
Finally watched your well done little video and I wholeheartedly agree.Well my Experia ended up only being down for a few weeks. I thought it was going to be a lot longer so I got a gas bike to get around on. I always liked and wanted a Speed Triple... and now I have one. My apologies for the shameless self promotional video but it's the only "before" images I really have. I describe the bike as being #YOLO Swagtastic with all the bling.
I thought it might be fun to chronicle turning it into a mostly stock bike that's a bit more my particular style. Understated, practical, and capable is what I'm shooting for.
i did it the night before riding to vegas. there was no time to use epoxy.I was particularly fond of the matrix of washers JB Welded to the tank cover on that bike to provide purchase for the magnetic tank bag. You are my spirit animal.
Objectively it's not too loud at all. I find it has a nice little burble. Finally watched your well done little video and I wholeheartedly agree.
How loud is that very expensive slip on?
I'm sorry...what?Save your hearing.
I bought the stainless versions and used anodized spray paint.don't forget how it all fades differently in the UV world we live in

They are in fine shape....butHow are the stock plastics? In decent shape?
As far as projects go, I'm loving it. It's not a project to rebuild, or finish, get running or anything. Its just getting it to match my personality.Seems like a great project - have fun in the twisties!

Compared to the Giant 600 pound bikes I usually ride (Mt Experia, and my 1190 Adv before that) this thing feels like a pit bike.
Save your hearing.

I would say that is extra swagtastic. How did you find that many things with the Hayabusa kanji milled into it.
