ADV/DS ride Lake Berryessa/Knoxville OHV/Rayhouse Rd.

All riders and bikes are fine. Well, actually the Royal Enfield came through pretty fucked up. I'll leave it to Niraj to put a positive spin and post some pics. Let us just say that a huge amount of effort was expended fording a negligible waterway.

Was seriously thinking about joining today, but seeing how my day went south fast, I'm glad I stayed home.
 
I'm glad we made it out of there alive! Thanks for coming out. Definitely feel a lot more comfortable taking my wee off the pavement. Those dirt bros sure seemed surprised to find us down the single track route. Was looking pretty dicey for a moment. Check out Sport Touring in Hercules for the cooling vest I had, it's pretty cheap.

I hope to see some pics and vids uploaded.. gotta see myself keel over by the creek crossing.

Good call picking up the cooling vest. :thumbup Kim at Cal Sport Touring is a good guy too.

Single-track and water crossings.. Sounds like a slightly different version of the regular ride.
 
Sounds like the short trail up to the swimming hole, but I wasn't there so I can't say for sure. Hopefully, someone will enlighten us soon.

That was it I think. The swimming hole was pretty stagnant and gnarly though. Was definitely not ready for that as my first off road adventure haha. Made it out though and am much more confident with my DL650 now :laughing

Sorry I forgot your name, but dude on the KTM 1190 Adventure tore it up like a bad ass. Those Chris Birch videos must have him all fired up!
 
^the badass on the 1190 was almost surely Niraj. He's a beast on that thing.

I could see where a wee-strom could be a bit tough on parts of that little trail, though. Glad to hear you made it out unscathed.
